I just want to take a moment and reflect on a common thread throughout Anderson's post fight in ring interview. He continually thanked America for giving him a chance and changing the life of him and his family. I didn't hear any journalist or commentators mention this, reasonable in light of what we had just seen, but even so after the dust had settled i didn't hear anyone mention this. its hard to put into words but honestly i do feel a sense of pride knowing that i live in a country that can provide someone with nothing the platform to become the greatest 185 champ to date. I'm under no delusion that Anderson didn't put the hard work in himself but what America provided was the platform and the showcase to become a world known name. Thank you Anderson for appreciating the US and what it has to offer anybody that's willing to work for it.
