And that's a big IF...as in, if the fight gets passed round 1, I see his chances of actually winning diminishing quite significantly against Mir.
But maybe... just maybe... he ends up Fujita-ing Mir and with a really impressive win a la TKO or KO in round 1, I think the UFC could potentially try to match him up against Dos Santos again which has the potential of being one of their best selling fights of the year.
If it's just a win, being impressive in it's own right against a big name like Mir, perhaps another easy fight to sell would be against Hunt since both are big names from the Pride era. If this happens I see a very scary Hunt out for revenge in this classic rematch.
Otherwise, if the UFC feels like being cruel they'll feed him to Gonzaga after Gonzaga runs through Miocic in their upcoming fight. I could be wrong in both scenarios, but Gonzaga has been looking very scary lately.
With that being said, I'll be shocked if Overeem pulls off another win after a win against Mir which I'd give him a 60-65% chance of accomplishing...
