Hello, this is my first ever training log on any site. I am making this log to help motivate and monitor my weight loss/strength/cardio progress. I am 24 years old 5'11'' and currently 205 pounds. My goal is to be 170 pounds and be able to bicep curl 50 pound dumbells in 3 sets of 8 reps (maybe I will post a better metric or strength goal but I usually never measured my strength seriously, even when I was in shape. I also want to be able to have single digit body fat. My goal deadline is October 1st 2014.
I used to be in good shape, with single digit body fat. 2 years ago I could run 3 miles in just over 18 minutes.
My plan is to do work out every day, with maybe the occasional rest day but only once per week. I plan on doing full body workouts consisting of 3 sets of 8 reps of every muscle group followed by cardio the next day. Cardio will be running or biking for 3+ miles and for a minimum of 30 minutes, with some cardio days dedicated to sprinting or maybe even practicing on a punching bag. This is the plan I followed in the past to get in good shape. I will be posting my progress on here.
