Deadlift Help

I have lower back pain when I deadlift and know this is due to my legs fully extending before my hips/torso - my deadlift is not one complete movement. I've nailed down my form on lighter weights, but find I revert to my old ways when I go heavy. In order to fix this, should I 'lead with my chest', as in pushing my hips and torso out to eliminate the early rising of my hips and full leg extension. Another question. Is having an arched (not rounded) lower back when deadlifting detrimental? I know you've probably had the same questions a thousand times, but I'm not sure what's quite a good strategy to use. Thanks.
