sri lankan violence forever

iran repressed
russians going around beating ukrainians up
russian army on standby
islamic countries, no freedom and ridiculous sentencing.
and my pet rat had to be put to sleep yesterday. true!
walk down the city street at 2am and get assaulted
people nicking identities and money online.
plus much more violence and other crap around the globe.
this is also throughout history too.
we've evolved brilliantly when it comes to technology, medicine and lots of other things.
but the most important thing we should be good at, we're not!
over thousands of years we still can't get along with each other even though most people say they want peace.
we've had plenty of time.
how come after all that time of seeing how crap we have made societies that leaders, ordinary people, haven't sat down and come up with something to achieve that?
identify why its impossible for us to get on with others?
we are as clever as hell but i never see programmes about plans for all of us to get along.
yes there are always peace plans going on regarding palestine and israel and a few other places, but we know they don't end up in peace.
you'd think this would be the number 1, most important thing to do.
sure you do hear the odd religious person going on about how one day we will all get along because of the power of love and forgiveness, but that is fantasy.
its just the incredible amount of time we have had as a species to get things right, that blows my mind.
we've obviously given up.
what are the big reasons why we cannot be peaceful, or do the right thing in other ways too?
