So imnhere watching the Americans and for to wondering if anyone else shares my interest in Espionage/tradecraft. I'm not talking about James Bond type stuff. I'm taking about real life Espionage stories.
I've read Spy Handler: Memoirs from a KGB Officer, a book on cold war spy craft that dealt with tactics and the gadgets they used, Dancing with the Devil which dealt with the Lone tree fiasco. Obviously I've read John LeCarre.
As a child born during the last decade of the cold war, espionage in the 80s just fascinated me. Also helped that I was stationed at Embassies for three years and had classes upon classes on hard and soft targets, varying routes, dealing with walk ins, etc.
So sherbros, anyone else like espionage? Lol any good reads?
