Ok this may sound dumb and what not but I am looking for some advice on some comebacks I could use as ammo if folks can provide below.
You see I have this guy at my job I don't really consider him a friend more or so a guy I have to work with... anyway me and him discuss about boxing and MMA.
He always tells me boxing is more brutal and in my opinion I feel MMA is more brutal but that is everyones own opinion I guess.
BUT the thing is he totally shits on MMA and calls it gay and he says ya would like to watch men rolling on each other.
He tells me a good boxer will beat an MMA fighter. And I tell him why should an MMA fighter or anyone from the UFC only be restricted to punching? When MMA fighters can kick knee elbow do take downs wrestle brazilian ju jitsu moves judo etc... AKA do MMA moves and not just be restricted to punching
Like I told him I respect boxing and like it but I like MMA more this guy though totally disrespects MMA and shits on it. It honestly pisses me off but I keep my cool since I have to work with him and what not at my job.
So what other counters can I give this guy when he mocks MMA and claims boxing is more superior and barbaric.
He tells me boxing has more rounds and what not....
I've told him people get kicked in the head and arms broken and what not. I honestly do feel MMA is more barbaric especially since the gloves are less paddened the boxing gloves but boxing is also very barbaric to.
I've also told him those people ''rolling around'' are trying to perform their arm bars or whatnot to defeat the other guy and if it were performed on a normal person like you and not pro's trying to get their moves one another it wouldn't even be rolling around you'd have your arm in a lock and broken in seconds.
