Here me out folks, I will lay out why Anderson Silva vs Nick Diaz is actually a pretty reasonable fight for the UFC to make:
1.Both coming off two straight losses in championship fights.
2.Both looking for big name fights assumingly for bigger paydays and to add to their legacy.
3.Diaz has been calling out Silva since he first got into Strikeforce, maybe even earlier.
4.Anderson probably doesn't want to fight someone who checks leg kicks, Diaz doesn't really check leg kicks too often.
5.Diaz doesn't want someone who will hug him to a decision, Anderson has never done that. Anderson would likely want to be faced against a striker as well.
6.Two of the UFC's best boxers both who are willing to stand with anyone.
7.UFC ppv performance hasn't been the best lately, UFC could use some interesting fights.
8.Iz normal.
9.Anderson said he is no longer interested in the title.
