And I suppose you could include Anderson even though we don't know if/how he will come back. Maybe even Tim Kennedy too as I know some people rate him very highly.
I think this is a stronger top grouping than any other weight class at the moment. Those are six of the most all-round elite fighters in the world.
IMO the only division that comes close is 155, but even then I would give 185 the edge because the mw group is deeper (ie: I think everyone on the above 185 list is a better fighter than dos Anjos or Nurmagomedov, maybe Bendo too, and I have always been of the opinion that Melendez is a bit overrated as a fighter)
(taking the 155 top 6 to be: Pettis, Josh Thomson, Melendez, Bendo, Nurmagomedov, dos Anjos)
Changed days eh! No more title shots for the likes of Leites and Maia. (and that's not a knock on Anderson, as he beat some genuinely elite challengers in his time, ie: Hendo, Belfort, Sonnen)
