For those of you who live in hot and/or humid places, dressing for work in the summer can be a huge menstruated bitch, especially if you are prone to sweating as I am. Thankfully I have a very short commute to work, but I remember a time when commuting meant an hour of riding the bus and subway and transferring at hellishly dank stations and walking another 5 blocks. My shirts would be drenched by the time I got in. Commuting in the summer was just be a generally terrible experience. I can't imagine what it's like for guys who have to wear suits or uniforms.
Right now my office environment is fairly lax and I can wear jeans and sneakers, but I still try to wear button ups/downs. For the summer I've been wearing linen shirts and they've been lifesavers but are also prone to wrinkling. Anyone else have a good solution to work wardrobe in the hot weather season? I still got a solid two months left of this humid hot shit and could definitely add some items to help stay cool.
Thanks and stay frosty.
