So tonight I was getting back from the mall to my apartment (the mall is right across the street from my building), and the janitor/doorman tells me some guy with lombrosian features showed up monday around midnight at the gate, asking if I had "arrived" and if I had gone up "with a couple friends". I was fast asleep by then... or probably just browsing Sherdog. And other than me only my parents and my brother were here. The janitor found it strange and told him nobody named Pedro lived in the condo. The dude then went away on foot, turned around the corner and vanished from the camera's field of view.
He also said the other shift's janitor told him some guy came by a couple weeks ago, also on foot, asking for my father (by name and surname), saying they had a "meeting" scheduled in the condo's conference room. No such meeting was scheduled.
We're not exactly rich... upper middle class at best, I'd say. Lots of much richer folk live in this very building and the ones in the neighborhood.
Me, my dad and my bro are all lawyers, though. My father represents the City Hall... dunno what you guys call that specific job in the US. We use the equivalent to "attorney-general" here, but he's not a prosecutor.. As such, I think we might be subject to some hate. But I always thought people would go after the clients rather than the lawyers :icon_lol:
Who knows, though. Maybe I'm just being a little paranoid and these were both unrelated incidents without much consequence.
Not sure why I decided to post this here; I know the precautions that need to be taken to avoid bad stuff from happening... keep a low profile, don't drive around at night so much, beware when walking the dog, etc.. Maybe this thread will just remain for posterity as a place of internet curiosity-driven pilgrimage if I really end up being kidnapped/killed. :icon_neut
