First off, awesome documentary. I especially enjoyed seeing all the footage of Carlos Gracie Sr. One thing wasn't answered for me though.
We know the roots of the BJJ gi, but what is the history of nogi BJJ training? Yes Carlson Sr/Rolls etc... was very interested in cross training and VT/MMA, but seems there is footage of them training nogi when they are young. Was it something Carlos and Helio encouraged right from the start?
