Quick thought for today while I read an article about Dana telling BJ to retire.. why don't you give him a little incentive to do so? I don't want to open the whole fighter pay conversation, I would just like to know would it not be beneficial to both parties if you would just pay them a bonus to retire? I was definitely thinking this should be the case with the "legends" of our time. If they want BJ to retire they should call him and say "listen buddy we can't repay you for making our sport the way it is today but I don't want to see you take shit tons of damage to the head anymore. Here is a million dollars just retire, please." I think that would be great for the fighters that had a warzone of a career fade in to the sunset a little easier, plus it shows the fighter that you truly appreciate them. Thoughts? Or was this just a stupid idea?
