5/3/1: My Quest for 1,100

So, here's some cliffs from my training up until now:

I've lifted on and off since I was 19, never knowing what the fuck I was doing and skipping leg days lol. Never deadlifted or squatted really until July 1 2012 when I was 159 and sick of being a scrawny fuck. Did Wendler's 5/3/1 with some BB added in, got to 172-174 and injured my back shrugging like a moron. Fell back down to 165, and in February 2013 started lifting again. Got to 181 on a dirty bulk by May, and was squatting 270x11 (best ever) breaking parallel. Then... appendicitis. Took me 5 weeks to be able to do a chin up, but I started lifting again 8 days after surgery. I'm finally back to 181-183, but far weaker than I was before. Certainly aggravated a shoulder and chest injury, so my bench and dips got pretty weak. Starting a 5/3/1 variant this week.

Chins: 13
Dips: 12
Bench 1RM: 270
Deadlift 1RM: 365
Squat 1RM: 305
OHP 1RM: 150
Weight: 182

12 Week Goals:
Chins 18
Dips 12 w/ 45
Bench 1RM: 300
Deadlift 1RM: 405
Squat 1RM: 400
OHP 1RM: 185
Weight: 195

I realize the squat goal is rather lofty, but I'm hoping I'll get some noob gains since I've neglected squats a lot since the surgery.

Injuries: Right chest and left shoulder still feel a little "meh." Right oblique strained a little from a deadlift gone wrong last Sunday, probably letting DL's rest until next week just to be safe.

I'll add my workouts from this week tomorrow and keep it updated.
