Most MMA fans only know the 30 something experienced UFC champion Silva, but how many of you know about the 90's bat shit crazy incredible group and literally the craziest mma team ever, Chute box. Being a vale tudo fighter in the 90's in Brazil is crazy in itself, being part of the Chute box team was the craziest of the crazy. Jose "Pele" Landy was very similar to Anderson and they came up together same time, same age all through those crazy vale tudo years. Pele some say was even more talented then Anderson, but he couldn't hold his shit together. Wanderlei-crazy, Cristiano Marcelo-crazy, Cybory-crazy, Cordeiro-crazy, all those mo fo's were badass crazy motherfckrs!
Anderson Silva is not a poster boy for martial arts by any means, he's mean, he's got a big ego and he'll do whatever it takes to hurt you. From grabbing Sonnen's shorts while throwing bombs at him, from up-kicking Okami (I think on purpose)and the various other stories i've heard through the years here in brazil and in general.
That said Anderson is the greatest MMA fighter we've ever had the pleasure of watching and I use the word crazy also as a metaphor for the career path these men chose. I guess final point is, Anderson got real fcking crazy on Weidman and thats why he lost. Thats it.
