My instructor tells us never to use strength while fighting bjj, and some of my fellow students complain that they cannot complete their techniques like sweeps without infact using strength. I myself try never to use strength except when I'm trying to tap somebody out with a choke or armbar or anything like that. What are your thoughts on this subject? NOTE: I train in a no-gi bjj class, coming season, I will go to gi-bjj once again.
