It's official, Vitor has ducked Mousasi AGAIN

Back in 2009, Vitor Belfort and Gegard Mousasi were set to face off at Affliction III, however a weight class could not be agreed upon. Gegard proposed that they fight at catchweight. Vitor quickly refused a catchweight bout. Months later, Vitor signed with the UFC and his first fight back was against Rich Franklin at, get this, catchweight. Vitor and Mousasi never fought and they went on with their careers.

Fast forward to 2013, both Vitor and Mousasi are in the UFC. Mousasi challenges Vitor to a fight, and again Vitor refuses. Vitor states Mousasi needs to earn the opportunity to face him. Vitor goes on and on about how Mousasi doesn't deserve to face him. Now back in 2011, Vitor got a Middleweight title shot against the undefeated and arguably p4p best fighter, Anderson Silva. At the time, Vitor was 2-0 at Middleweight (both fights were outside the UFC) and his last fight was nearly 2 years before at catchweight. One would argue that Vitor did not earn this title shot.

Vitor is now scheduled to face Tim Kennedy. So I ask you this, why does Tim Kennedy deserve to fight Vitor Belfort more than Gegard Mousasi does?

Has there been a more blatant case of hypocrisy and ducking?
