I might seem a noob on this forum considering my join date but please if you don't know of this man please look into his story.
I am a kickboxing fan but Enson is the epitome of warrior and genuine person when it comes to MMA.
What he has done for Japanese MMA is astonishing and he wasn't even born there. If you ever want to see heart and real spirit then watch his fight against Igor Volvchanchyn. Enson did not quit, it was not his spirit that died, it was the horrible rules.
I am 33 and I have been a fan of combat sports for almost 20 years. Never in my life has one man inspired me and made me see what the art can really bring to the common person other than him.
He has a warrior spirit, something that I will one day teach my children.
Enson Inoue is a true hero of mixed martial arts.
I'm sure most of you know of him and respect him but this is for the people that don't. Please know who he was. He was willing to die in the ring, every fight was about testing himself, every fight was not about points. It was about "what can I give and take". Every fight was about him.
