So I was thinking today about how many upsets there have been in 2013, from the big ones like Weidman to the lower profile ones like Little Nog over 'shad. So I was going over the cards for the next few months, and I noticed that there are alot of matchups between 2013's established stars and comparatively low profile fighters. So here is my question for this thread, are you picking any upsets in the next few months? For reference, here are the fights that caught my eyes:
Saffiedine vs. Lim - Last Strikeforce champ
Benson Henderson vs. Thomson - I know, Thomson beat Diaz but Bendo is coming off 3 title defenses before the Pettis loss.
Ronaldo Souza vs. Francis Carmont I'm picking Souza.
Gustafsson vs. Manuwa - I'm excited for this one.
All 3 are fighters with pretty high profiles and none of these are easy fights. If you can think of another, please include it. I was tempted to put Machida v. Mous, but that's more of a wildcard fight. These are all Main or co-main Events, as a side note.
So do you see 4 easy wins or is your upset sense ringing?
