So what if...
What if during a card, an electrical fire broke out, killing Dana, the Ferttitas, Joe and Goldy, Joe Silva, and Bruce Buffer all at once..?
Would the UFC instantly be wiped from the face of the Earth? Who would need to survive to make it still function? Who do you replace the individuals with, and how long would it take to get it back up and running, assuming there was a schedule in place, and that no fighters were injured or killed in the fire? Would another org just swoop in and steal the roster, or what?
I'm not very corporate-minded, so maybe there's already a system in place in case of disaster... I also think that Joe Silva is an enormous influence on the shape of the UFC as a product (entertainment wise), and would potentially be the biggest loss. Losing that casino money from the Ferttitas would surely leave them in mess, or is the company solvent enough to press on with senior management?
