dear sherdog,
-thank you, before you I didn't know that Hendricks was "entitled" all I knew was that he had gone 5-0 ko'd kampmman&fitch inside a min, got passed over for title shot, because of a hyped up feud, and arguably beat the p4p #1 only to see that he was denied.
-thank you, before you I didn't know jbj only succeeded because of his reach and was vastly overrated. all I knew was his submission wins over page, machida, bader, and him coming into a fight with shogun many thought he would lose(myself included) and dominating.thank you for reminding me that jones v gus was the biggest travesty in the history of mma(my multiple viewings had led me to believe it was just a really close fight)
-thank you, ive always been of the opinion that the best fights involve slick grappling exchanges, technical striking, displays of heart and chin, excellent game plans, adjustments made mid fight, and the like. it is only thru sherdog and its infinite knowledge ive come to find out that the best fights involve winging haymakers, inordinate amounts of blood,no game plans, and under no circumstances grappling
-thank you, before you when viewing ronda rousey I saw an intensely competitive grappling orientated mma fighter who had finished all of her opposition. again sherdog opened my eyes intense is really "bitchy" competitive is only "poor sportsmanship"......and shes scared of cyborg:redface:
-thank you, for helping to realize the GREATNESS that is pettis, although he is only3-1 in the ufc with ko's over num7 ranked cerrone and num9 ranked lauzon he SHOULD have a superfight with the bum that is aldo, nevermind that he hasn't defended the title once. helping me realize the GREATNESS that is nick diaz, before you sherdog all I saw was a retired fighter, with a good guard, decent volume punching,no top10 wins, and a poor fight iq......little did I know "he BRINGS IT"
-thank you, before you sherdog I thought fights were judged round by round on effective striking/grappling/cage control/aggression. it is only thru sherdog that I know fights are based on whose "bloodier and or f@cked up" and if the guy I was pulling for loses the judging is B.S.
theres more I could praise you for sherdog but alas I have other things to do
love,
me
