Despite being a strong contender for the biggest Barao fan on this site I am also a fan of Cruz.

So what is doing with the Dominator??

http://www.mmafighting.com/2014/3/11...yes-ufc-return

Eddie Alvarez (training partner) said, "He's back in the gym this week. He's not full sparring, but he's drilling and he's doing grappling and stuff and getting into that kind of stuff."
Anyone heard anything else??

I personally am looking forward to him coming back, so who should he fight?

Basically the Barao fight is what everyone wants to see but I think coming in with that much ring rust wouldn’t make it an interesting match. I think 2 wins should get him a shot.

So who should he fight?

My preferance,
Alex Caceres, then Faber, then Title Shot.

Bruce Leeroy, is a very interesting fighter builing a base but yet to fight a big name. Its a winable fight for both guys and I feel about the right level for Cruz after so long away.

Faber, the third in the trilogy, MONEY MONEY MONEY, and whomever wins can get a title shot than can sell.

Barao, Cruz was a great and if he can retain his old abilities this could be a good fight. I favour Renan in a very big way but if Cruz can make Renan fight his fight it he could stun the world.

While I am here some Cruz Facts,

Despite holding the UFC belt for record breaking 1,117 days Cruz only had 2 fights in the UFC.

Both Cruz's UFC fights were against top 15 p4p guys, Faber currently 15th and MM currently 5th, perhaps the highest average level of opponents in UFC history???

Dominic is currently ranked at 11th after over 2.5 years of inaction.
